"Devious is never defeated."
This article contains episode summaries for the third and final season of Devious Butlers.
Episodes of the third season premiered on June 4, 2017, and they concluded on September 10, 2017. The season consisted of a total of 12 episodes.
Welcome back to Wikerly Hills, the worst place in the whole world to try and plan a wedding. Six months after the day of the disastrous church explosion, which changed the lives of our butlers forevermore, and Joe is set to marry one miss Joanna Winters... only he ends up kidnapped at his own ceremony, both tying in with and kicking off a whole new set of events that allow murder, mystery and mayhem to once again collide in this big-shot town. That isn't all, though. Josh is forced to adjust to some major life changes in regards to what happened to Brad, which may have him questioning his own peace of mind. Rena, at the same time, is questioning his talent, and finds himself launched by his new squeeze, Maria Solano, on a creative mission which could take a perilous turn. Ben, all the while, is dealing with the fact that Valentina is now heavily pregnant with not one, but two rape babies and suing him for custody every step of the way. Preoccupations befall them all as well, of course, with some new arrivals to Fanon Drive coming to stir up trouble - as well as more than a few vacancies created. Ali has to deal with the fact that her family, who she wants nothing to do with, is now attempting to reach out to her, while her girlfriend Liz takes a shine to being top bitch around the new movie studio at the head of the street. To make matters worse, Silvia Applewhite returns from the asylum - which is bound to see a lot of rooms filled in the coming months - with a new husband in tow, becoming very much the figure of intrigue. Particularly to Joe, who even prior to his kidnapping was stuck wondering both who was behind the explosion and who his unknown sibling is, not to mention a wife-to-be who's paranoid that a figure from her past is out to get her, and now he's left toting around some dark secrets of his own in a burden that, shouldered by his friends, should further bind the butlers together in the most horrible way. Get ready. It's gonna be a bloodbath.

Plot Synopsis: For whom do the church bells toll? Six months apart, two disastrous weddings take place: one, as we've already seen, ending with a bang, and the other with a mysterious kidnapping. That aside, though, and all the butlers are swiftly transitioning into brand new eras of their lives - some more willingly than others. Ben is still being forced into fatherhood, with his evil baby mama wrecking him every step of the way, while Ali continues to hide something big from both he and her new movie-star girlfriend. Rena has once again found employment with someone very surprising indeed, guaranteed to ruffle a few feathers, but hopes to use his blossoming relationship with Maria Solano to better his career in a different direction. Josh deals with some major changes following the explosion of the church, unable to shift blame away from a paranoid Joanna. And Joe... Joe has a lot on his plate right now. Mysteries to solve. Proposals to venture. And crimes to commit.

Plot Synopsis: The butlers band together to cover up something horrible, which has strange ripple effects for their personal lives. Ben fears he won't be able to keep his mouth shut around Ali, who's currently struggling with having her family back in her life. The event in question slow-walks Rena into realizing how interesting life as a butler can be, after Mary gives him a bit of advice to cure writer's block. Josh is the only one of the four to wind up in prison, though for something very separate, and Joe, as Joanna faces further disappointments, dives into investigative work and deems the Kappellettis to be a good place to start. The stray Kappelletti, meanwhile, marks her arrival to Fanon Drive, as does Silvia when she hosts a dinner party for the whole neighborhood where everyone's many tensions are sure to grind.

Plot Synopsis: Lots of Wikerly Hills' help seem to be switching up their employment, with Josh landing a new job with Maria Solano - exposing some of his crazy to her - and Ben with Joanna - exposing more than some of his blandness to her. There's also James with Ali, and Val with Andrew and Jennifer Von Trump, which is disconcerting for more than a few. Meanwhile, in the wake of an arguable tragedy, Liz is thrown into prison with some individuals she'd rather not have to deal with, and Rena vows to free her in order to alleviate his girlfriend's distraught reaction to the arrest. Joe, though, seems intent on the idea that his shady mother is somehow behind it all.

Plot Synopsis: There's a serial killer on the loose, with the press even dishing out a memorable little name for them, and Rena decides to test his mettle as both an actor and a detective by learning who lies behind the rubber mask. First, he takes a look at Jason's life, with Jason's widow currently helping Joe uncover the identity of his secret brother, and Josh takes on a whole new identity when one of Brad's old clients gives him a call. Ben, meanwhile, deals with Jennifer in the aftermath of a separate murder, with his old boss currently falling prey to naivety and his new boss looking to adopt a baby from a certain maid... for a fee.

Plot Synopsis: It's time for the butlers to return to where they belong. As per Liz's warning, Ben returns to Ali's side to help get her out of the trouble she doesn't even know she's in, as some old family secrets come crawling back to the surface with possibly deadly consequences. Rena, meanwhile, is continually trying to prevent other deadly consequences from resurfacing across Wikerly Hills, meaning Mary might have to put him back in his place. Joe reconvenes with family, with James finally finding himself having one, and Joanna is back to staving off nasty visions. She isn't the only one, for the unceasing mirage of Bradley Sonya is now ushering Josh to be where he apparently belongs as well: by his side in death.

Plot Synopsis: Finally, and in spite of endless drama, Joe and Joanna are about to tie the knot. But first, destiny is called into question. Namely, what if Justine Dussault never murdered Jose Sanchez? Where would the butlers we know and love be if Joe hadn't arrived to Fanon Drive when he did? Would they still be friends? Would this wedding still be happening? Would the endless drama be quite so endless? It's time to find out.

Plot Synopsis: What goes up must come down, and all good things must come to an end. The happiness stemming from the DeWars' wedding lasts them to the end of their honeymoon weeks later, but things from there only go from bad to worse. Rochelle's body has been found, Josh still refuses to speak to Joanna, and Meghan's health takes a drastic turn. Joe's recently expanded family is shrinking, while Rena's is driving him crazy, what with Theresa still living it up on Fanon Drive and even developing feelings for a certain other butler who, currently, is tending to his bosses' relationship woes. His ex-wife, though, may be a good influence for Josh.

Original air date: August 6, 2017
Plot Synopsis: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the most devious of them all? Right now, that position seems to be filled by no butler, but rather by the person who's left Joe with a particularly big mess in the middle of his living room - a mess which requires some rather close inspection if he's to get to the bottom of things. Meanwhile, Rena requires some close inspection upon himself, when a YouTube collaboration ends in insult, and Mary isn't a fan of the way he wishes to console himself, unlike Ali and Liz who find an old reliable solution to their recent struggles. Josh too takes a good look at himself upon his release from the asylum, and Val spells trouble for Ben's dating life.

Original air date: August 13, 2017
Plot Synopsis: Things in Wikerly Hills are wet and dripping with the blood of the innocent, and not-so-innocent - but victims nonetheless. While Ben is in for heartbreak, Jennifer makes yet another comeback, and he must put his woes aside in order to help get her acclimated to life out of the asylum, along with Ali. This leads to Liz being left out, just like Theresa, whose brother seriously wants to crack down on catching the Devious Butler and starts to find his sister to be more detrimental than anything. Joanna, meanwhile, wants to crack down on another mystery, though Joe may be reluctant to investigate further, and Josh finds himself confronted by the man he almost married.

Original air date: August 20, 2017
Plot Synopsis: Quite contrary to Mary's musings that Rena lacks independence, he finds himself having to urgently rely on his own skills as a detective when the Devious Butler sends him a gruesome message. Theresa and Liz's lives remain hanging in the balance, while the latter's lover, prior to her inkling that anything's wrong, continues to try and help Jennifer alongside Ben, who remains Val's puppet for as long as she's on bed-rest. Ali seeks help from Josh, whose maternal reunion may provide answers for both her conundrum and the matter of what he wants to do to move on with his life, and Tyson moves in at a very stressful time for Joe.
- See main article: "If I Were a Butler"
Original air date: August 27, 2017
Plot Synopsis: As Joe's trial draws nearer, Joanna and Tyson and all those closest to him grow evermore nervous as more evidence and testimonies are gathered - some more damning than others. Val may have been right in saying that this is her and Kathryn's chance to take the butlers down, which turns said butlers' attention to Kathryn as a possible guilty culprit to crimes outside the realm of Rochelle Little's murder. Still within this realm, though, Ben tells Ali something of great importance, and a grieving Rena inadvertently forces Joanna to question where the true blame lies for this whole series of events. Josh's business finds its footing, possibly paving the path for a whole new generation of devious butlers - assuming this one doesn't end up behind bars.

Original air date: September 10, 2017
Plot Synopsis: Lives are forever changed once more when Wikerly Hills' abundance of murder, mystery and mayhem reaches an astoundingly epic boiling point the likes of which our beloved butlers have never before had to deal with. Something from Jose's past could provide a clue which Joe desperately needs, assuming he can find a way to properly unearth the info. A big decision awaits Josh, as does a big revelation, regarding the death of his late husband. Mary provides an answer to Rena's question, but soon finds she's bit off more than she can chew, as Liz and an increasingly fresh-start-inclined Ali prepare to host one last bash in the Del Barrio mansion. And Val going into labor strangely provides Ben with the chance to firmly assert his backbone. All this while Joanna's worst enemy starts to enact her master plan, and the fact that the butlers have an idea of just who's helping her and think they might have to take her down just comes to prove that there'll be no rest for the devious...
